eKit - eKit is an learning tool used by new and existing savings groups.
eKit is designed to enable new and existing Savings Groups (SG) learn about core concepts on mobilization, formation of groups as well as how to effectively operate and manage their activities as groups whose objective is to help improve their own livelihoods through common savings and borrowing.
e-kit addresses SG training needs based on materials developed by FSD. The content is presented in an engaging format with an easily accessible user interface. The mobile app contains a series of training modules in the form of videos in Swahili. These modules and the glossary capture key messages in a way that resonates with SG members. The Quiz function helps to reinforce the concepts learned. The mobile app is a reference guide for existing Savings Groups and an invaluable tool for formation of new groups.
The SG e-kit is informed by experiences drawn from CARE and CRS e-recording based implementations.
